KUALA LUMPUR, 15 September 2026 – Rework.com, a global technology company with more than one million users across 12,000 companies, has unveiled its Agentic Operating System (Agentic OS) for Business at Rework Launch 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, introducing a connected platform designed to help organisations move beyond isolated AI experiments. The platform brings together people, AI agents, business data and operational workflows within a single environment.
Rework sees the emergence of agentic AI as a significant shift in how businesses operate. Traditional business software has largely been designed around the idea that people perform the work while software stores information and manages processes. As AI becomes increasingly capable of executing tasks, organisations will need to reconsider how responsibilities are shared between people and AI.
Agentic OS is built around this human-AI collaboration model, enabling businesses to connect AI agents with their operational workflows and organisational knowledge. According to Rework, this can help companies execute tasks faster, improve operational efficiency, reuse business context and knowledge, and build intelligence that accumulates over time.
The development comes as Malaysia continues to invest heavily in its digital economy. MDEC recorded RM87.4 billion in digital investments in 2025, while AI adoption among Malaysian businesses continues to show room for growth. A Strand Partners report found that 67% of AI adopters in Malaysia still primarily rely on basic applications such as chatbots, while only 19% have a formal strategy to scale AI across multiple business functions.

Agentic OS for Business consists of two core layers: Intelligence Architecture and Business Services. The Intelligence Architecture serves as the underlying intelligence layer connecting the business, including centralised business outputs, organisational knowledge and a multi-AI-agent stack comprising Service AI, AI Assistant, AI Desktop and Workflow AI.
The Business Services layer brings together hundreds of interconnected operating services covering key business functions. These include marketing services such as lead monitoring, prospect engagement and campaign monitoring; sales services covering pipeline management, quotes, orders and invoices; work services covering projects, business processes and cross-functional orchestration; people services covering employee management, leave, timesheets and payroll; as well as communication services such as chat, town halls and meetings.
