As part of Accor’s portfolio of globally recognised hospitality brands, Mercure Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie continues to deliver meaningful, locally inspired experiences that connect guests to the essence of each destination. This Ramadan, the hotel proudly presents the return of Ramadan Buffet Sajian Darul Ehsan Vol. 3, an iftar experience fondly remembered and eagerly anticipated. From 23 February to 19 March 2026, WARNA All Day Dining becomes a gathering place where familiar flavours, shared stories, and heartfelt moments come together to celebrate Selangor’s rich culinary heritage, offering a comforting yet beautifully rediscovered experience. Guests are invited to mark their calendars and savour Ramadan through flavours reminiscent of home.

Puvan Abdullah, General Manager of Mercure Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie, said, “The return of Ramadan Buffet Sajian Darul Ehsan reflects our commitment to reconnecting with guests through experiences that feel genuine and close to home. Ramadan at Mercure is not just about dining, but about creating moments of togetherness and rediscovery, where local culture and hospitality are reflected in every detail. These moments are thoughtfully designed to be shared and remembered throughout the holy month.”

Rooted in Mercure’s dedication to local discovery, Ramadan Buffet Sajian Darul Ehsan Vol. 3 invites guests on a culinary journey across Selangor’s nine diverse districts, presented through a generous buffet spread celebrating local heritage and flavours. Each section of the buffet reflects the warmth of home and tradition, beginning with carefully prepared appetizers and salads featuring a vibrant salad bar with pesticide-free produce from Klang, along with traditional local leaves such as ceylom, ulam raja, pegaga, and heart of banana, complemented by classic condiments including sambal belacan, sambal tempoyak, and sambal kicap. Regional starters like acar buah, kerabu pucuk paku, rojak Klang, and Selayang-style cold cuts offer a fresh and flavourful introduction to the feast.

The experience continues with kudap-kudap and street-food favourites inspired by Selangor’s Ramadan bazaars, including crispy fritters, karipap, cekodok manis, ubi getuk, and assorted local keropok that evoke a sense of nostalgia. At the heart of the buffet, signature dishes from all nine districts take centre stage, each highlighting its own culinary identity. Guests can enjoy Gombak’s satay ayam and daging, rendang, punten Jawa, and sambal taun berkuah; Sabak Bernam’s communal Nasi Ambeng; Klang’s Siakap Purbakala and grilled seafood; Kuala Selangor’s soto Jawa and spiced soups; Petaling’s chicken shawarma wraps; Hulu Langat’s kambing salai and ayam panggang; Kuala Langat’s live Char Kway Teow and DIY mee kari and asam laksa; Sepang’s gulai kawah daging and bubur lambuk; and Hulu Selangor’s roti canai, murtabak, and roti John.

Complementing these highlights, the main course selection features Selangor classics with daily rotations of carbohydrates, proteins, and vegetables, drawing on heritage recipes from all nine districts. Signature offerings include nasi kukus, nasi jeera, ayam masak ros, daging masak lemak, ikan goreng masam manis, sambal kerang, and seasonal vegetables, providing variety, authenticity, and comfort with every visit. Live grill and action stations further elevate the dining experience, allowing guests to enjoy freshly prepared favourites throughout the evening.

The feast concludes with traditional desserts and refreshments, including wadai kipeng, a live apam balik station, assorted Malay kuih-muih, aneka bubur manis, cendol and ABC, as well as local and dried fruits, jajan, ice creams, and refreshing Air Balang selections. Guests are encouraged to try Gombak’s punten Jawa and legendary sambal taun berkuah, Sabak Bernam’s Nasi Ambeng, Klang’s Siakap Purbakala grilled with traditional asam jawa, and the freshly prepared wadai kipeng and apam balik for a memorable finale.

Executive Chef Zaharullail Ashari explained, “Sajian Darul Ehsan is inspired by the flavours many of us grew up with. It is about rediscovering tastes that feel familiar, yet always special to enjoy together during Ramadan. Each dish is prepared with respect for tradition, using recipes and techniques that reflect Selangor’s culinary identity. These flavours are meant to be shared, bringing people closer at the table.”

Enhancing the festive atmosphere, live music by Soul Shadow creates a relaxed and welcoming ambience, while guests can enjoy interactive experiences at the photo booth, participate in a lucky draw, and immerse themselves in an iftar setting thoughtfully designed for family, friends, and colleagues. Every evening is crafted to feel unhurried, joyful, and memorable.
