This Ramadan, Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur invites guests to experience an extraordinary culinary journey with the launch of Santapan Nusantara Putra, a buffet celebration that showcases the rich and diverse flavours of the Malay Archipelago. Running from 1 March to 27 March 2025, the buffet promises to bring together beloved traditional Malaysian dishes, vibrant Indonesian flavours, and international specialties, offering a truly immersive and communal dining experience.

Guests can indulge in over 100 mouthwatering dishes, including local favourites like Kambing Bakar (grilled lamb) and Gulai Daging Kawah (meat stew), as well as international options that bring the best of the region’s culinary offerings to the table.

The buffet offers a curated selection of five culinary stations, each offering unique, bold flavours and aromatic dishes to delight your senses.
- Gerai Kuali-Kawah – Indulge in robust and hearty options like Kambing Bakar (grilled lamb) and Gulai Daging Kawah (beef stew), both packed with rich spices and slow-cooked to perfection.
- Gerai Sate Beragam – Explore an array of satay options, including the renowned Indonesian Sate Maranggi Sapi (beef satay) from Purwakarta and the unique Sate Kambing Kecap (goat satay) from Madura Island, offering a true taste of Indonesian street food.
- Gerai Kuah-Kuahan – For lovers of comforting broths, this station features crowd favourites such as Sup Tulang (bone broth), Sup Bakso (meatball soup), and Sup Sayur Asem (vegetable soup), perfect for warming up your soul.
- Gerai Kuliner Nusantara – Take a journey through Indonesian specialties like Daging Sapi Taliwang (beef dish from West Nusa Tenggara) and Tongseng Kambing (goat stew from Central Java), each bursting with bold and unique flavours.
And of course, no Ramadan feast would be complete without sweet treats. The buffet will include an array of decadent desserts, such as Kek Marble (marble cake), Kek Pandan Gula Melaka (pandan cake with palm sugar), as well as traditional favourites like Bubur Kacang Hijau (green bean porridge), Bubur Pulut Hitam (black glutinous rice porridge), and Sago Pelangi Gula Aren (rainbow sago with palm sugar).
