Lotuss Stores Malaysia Sdn Bhd, also known as Lotus’s Malaysia, has announced the opening of its 71st store at KSL Esplanade Mall. This marks an important milestone in the company’s expansion and reflects a long-standing partnership with KSL that began in 2011 with its first store in Johor Bahru.

The latest opening represents more than just growth. According to Yvonne Yong, Chief Financial and Property Development Officer of Lotus’s Malaysia, the partnership with KSL has evolved through a shared approach to creating environments that combine retail, hospitality, and community elements.

Lotus’s Malaysia’s 71st store – Lotus’s KSL Esplanade officially opens its doors to customers today, 4 April 2026. Customers were seen to enter the store with much excitement.

She explained that KSL Esplanade is a strategic location due to its strong connectivity through major roads and expressways, along with its proximity to the upcoming LRT3 station. The surrounding residential and commercial areas, as well as the presence of a hotel within the development, contribute to a steady and diverse flow of customers.

The Lotus’s KSL Esplanade store is designed to meet the daily needs of the local community. It offers more than 9,000 products across key categories such as fresh produce, bakery items under the in-house Lo’Ti brand, groceries, frozen food, household essentials, health and beauty products, and general merchandise.

Neil Gurusamy, Chief Operations Officer of Lotus’s Malaysia, said the store is intended to support everyday living by bringing together a wide range of essentials in an accessible and easy-to-navigate format. The layout features clear zoning and signage to help customers shop efficiently.

The store is positioned to serve a diverse customer base, including families, nearby residents, hotel guests, and busy urban consumers. Families can benefit from value-driven household essentials, while visitors can enjoy convenience during their stay. For time-conscious individuals, the store offers a quick and efficient shopping experience.

Customers were seen to be shopping for groceries, sampling on food items at the brand new Lotus’s KSL Esplanade that offers more than 9,000 products in store.

Affordability remains a key focus for Lotus’s. The company continues to emphasize pricing strategies that help customers manage their daily spending without compromising on quality. This includes a strong mix of product selection, house brands, and ongoing promotions designed to deliver value.
