Madonna’s Triumphant Return: Signing Back with Warner Records and Teasing 2026 Dance Album

After nearly two decades away, Madonna, the best-selling female recording artist of all time, has returned to Warner Records, the label that shaped the first 25 years of her iconic career. The announcement comes ahead of her highly anticipated new dance album, set to release in 2026, marking her first studio album in seven years.

“From being a struggling artist in New York City to releasing just three singles, it seemed at the time my world would never be the same again and in fact, that couldn’t have been truer. Since the beginning, Warner Records has been a real partner with me. I am happy to be reunited and look forward to making music, doing the unexpected, and perhaps provoking a few needed conversations,” Madonna shared about the deal.

Warner Records co-Chairmen Tom Corson and Aaron Bay-Schuck said, “We are honored to welcome Madonna back home. She isn’t just an artist she’s the blueprint, the rule-breaker, the ultimate cultural juggernaut. This signing represents a historic, full-circle moment that reaffirms her unparalleled influence and sets the stage for an exciting new era of creativity and impact.”

For her upcoming album, Madonna reunites with award-winning producer, songwriter, and DJ Stuart Price, following the success of Confessions on a Dance Floor, which delivered multiple global hits and redefined dance-pop music.

Over a career spanning more than four decades, Madonna has sold over 400 million records worldwide, earning seven Grammy Awards, two Golden Globes, and a place in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Known for her groundbreaking music videos, dynamic live performances, and fearless self-expression, she continues to shape pop culture and inspire generations, solidifying her legacy as a cultural icon and one of the highest-grossing solo touring acts in history.
