In the spirit of Ramadan, a time defined by compassion, unity and generosity, Nestlé Malaysia translated these values into meaningful action through its “Ramadan Penuh Bermakna bersama Nestlé” initiative. The nationwide programme successfully reached more than 300,000 beneficiaries, delivering close to RM2 million worth of food aid to underserved and vulnerable communities across Malaysia. By working closely with local religious authorities, non-governmental organisations, media partners and universities, Nestlé Malaysia ensured that essential food and nourishment were made accessible to those who needed it most during the holy month.
At the core of the initiative was a large-scale effort to pack and distribute over 15,000 Bakul Ramadan, providing families with essential food items to sustain them throughout the fasting period. In addition, Nestlé supported iftar meal distributions and continued its long-standing tradition of sharing MAGGI Bubur Lambuk nationwide. These efforts were made possible through the active involvement of the company’s Nestlé Sayang Komuniti volunteers, who played a crucial role in delivering aid and engaging directly with communities on the ground.
The initiative also reflected Nestlé Malaysia’s broader commitment to its “Good Food, Good Life” promise, as highlighted by its leadership. By addressing food security challenges during Ramadan, the company not only provided immediate relief but also strengthened community resilience. Through “Ramadan Penuh Bermakna bersama Nestlé,” the company demonstrated how corporate responsibility can create a tangible and lasting difference in the lives of Malaysians.
