TRUEDAN, one of Taiwan’s most popular bubble tea brands, has officially commenced the soft opening of its first Malaysian outlet at IOI City Mall, marking the brand’s long-awaited entry into the local market. The official Grand Opening is scheduled to take place on 5 September 2026.
Located at Level 1, East Wing of IOI City Mall 2, the new outlet offers Malaysians the opportunity to experience TRUEDAN’s signature freshly shaved Meteoric Brown Sugar, handmade Taiwanese jelly and an extensive selection of the brand’s best-selling beverages that have earned a loyal following in Taiwan and other international markets.
The Malaysian outlet also reflects TRUEDAN’s youthful and street-inspired identity through an immersive store concept. Featuring iconic Taiwanese street mirrors and an urban skate-themed interior, the outlet recreates the vibrant atmosphere of Taiwan’s street culture while providing customers with a unique and Instagram-worthy café experience.
Customers can choose from a wide variety of signature beverage series, including the Meteoric Brown Sugar & Taiwanese Jelly Series, Craftsman’s Meteoric Brown Sugar Series, Meteoric Brown Sugar Milk Tea Series and Fresh Fruit Tea Series, catering to different taste preferences.
Among the highlights is TRUEDAN’s signature freshly shaved Meteoric Brown Sugar, prepared using whole brown sugar blocks that are shaved fresh for every cup to preserve their rich aroma and flavour. The drinks are complemented by freshly handmade Taiwanese jelly prepared daily, creating the distinctive taste and texture that has become synonymous with the brand.
Originating from Taiwan’s famous Shilin Night Market, TRUEDAN has expanded to nearly 80 outlets across several international markets, including London. The brand has built its reputation on authentic Taiwanese flavours and freshly prepared ingredients, making it one of Taiwan’s most recognised bubble tea chains.
