The Launch of the LLØØPP REXKL Residency
The intersection of art, technology, and spatial design reaches a new milestone in Kuala Lumpur with the launch of LLØØPP, a groundbreaking audiovisual format created by Dutch-American artist and composer Ray Tijssen, better known as 0010×0010. Hosted at REXPERIENCE (RXP.KL) inside the historic REXKL building, this landmark residency produced by SQNXR and presented alongside Jazzy Group redefines how a single room can morph in character, purpose, and energy without changing its physical architecture.
Rather than housing a static exhibition, LLØØPP introduces three distinct, continuously looping programmes to the same immersive space MORNING, DUSK, and DANCE. Each programme pairs an original ten-minute composition with a generative visual system born from the exact same score. MORNING slows down the room’s tempo with sustained tones and evolving imagery tailored for breathing, stretching, yoga, and meditation. Transitioning into the evening, DUSK shifts the atmosphere into a social, dining-friendly environment with gentle rhythms meant to complement conversation and food. Finally, DANCE brings high-energy rhythms, movement, and electronic music to the forefront of the floor.

Following its soft opening on Monday, 12 October 2026, the residency builds up to an official launch event on Saturday, 7 November 2026, which will amalgamate all three chapters into a single day of activities spanning afternoon wellness sessions, a special early-evening dining menu, and a late-night electronic music showcase featuring 0010×0010 himself.
By leveraging REXPERIENCE’s existing state-of-the-art audiovisual infrastructure within the former REX Cinema, LLØØPP proves that modern digital art can adapt seamlessly to cultural and hospitality venues rather than requiring purpose-built installations.
