Castrol Malaysia has expanded its commitment to the Motorsports Association of Malaysia (MAM) Malaysian Cub Prix Championship through an enhanced partnership with Yuzy Racing, while introducing its latest product, Castrol POWER1 ULTIMATE Scooter 10W-40. This move reinforces the brand’s focus on delivering high-performance engineering for both motorsports and everyday riders.
With the extended sponsorship, Castrol now supports both the CP150 and CP125 categories, which are among the premier underbone racing classes in the championship. Represented by Yuzy Racing, the team fields three motorcycles in the CP150 category and one in the CP125 category, strengthening Castrol’s presence across multiple engine classes while supporting rider development and technical advancement.

Alongside this, Castrol POWER1 ULTIMATE Scooter 10W-40 is introduced as a premium fully synthetic engine oil designed for modern scooters. Built for high-heat and high-friction conditions, it delivers smoother engine performance and consistent protection, particularly in urban riding environments.
Joshua Tan, Head of Marketing for Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines, highlighted that insights from motorsports continue to shape product innovation. Formulated with 5-in-1 Full Synthetic technology, the new lubricant is engineered to provide enhanced protection against heat and wear, especially in stop-and-go traffic and prolonged usage.
As scooters remain essential for daily mobility in Malaysia, Castrol developed this product to meet real-world demands, prioritising reliability and consistent performance. The engine oil is currently undergoing final regulatory approval and is expected to be available in May 2026, pending SIRIM certification, with production already underway in Port Klang.
