MR D.I.Y. Group once again celebrates a major achievement after securing its 8th consecutive win at the World Branding Awards (WBA). At the 20th edition of the ceremony, organised by the World Branding Forum, the brand was honoured as the “Top Home Improvement Retail Brand” under the Regional Award Category.
The latest recognition extends MR D.I.Y.’s award streak, which began with three straight National Awards from 2018 to 2020, followed by five consecutive Regional Awards from 2021 to 2025. This consistent performance highlights the brand’s growing regional influence, strong customer trust, and its reputation as a leader in the home improvement retail sector.
MR D.I.Y. Group’s Vice President of Marketing, Alex Goh, expressed deep appreciation for the recognition, emphasising the brand’s dedication to delivering value-driven experiences. He noted that value extends beyond affordability, reflecting the brand’s commitment to innovation, customer-centricity, and meaningful retail experiences. He credited the achievement to the hard work of the MR D.I.Y. team and the unwavering support of customers across all markets.
From humble beginnings in 2005 as a small hardware store, MR D.I.Y. has expanded into a global retail force. The Group now operates over 5,000 stores under its MR. D.I.Y., MR. TOY, and MR. The World Branding Awards celebrate exceptional branding across global, regional, and national categories. For the 2025–2026 cycle, more than 1,092 brands from 66 countries were nominated, with winners assessed through brand valuation, consumer market insights, and public online voting. This year’s ceremony was held at the Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts, Japan, bringing together leading brands from around the world.
