Ramadan Delights Await: Bufet Citarasa Warisan at Poolside Terrace, KGNS

This year, Poolside Terrace at Kelab Negara Golf Club Subang (KGNS) is proud to present Bufet Citarasa Warisan, a buffet experience that offers a wide selection of Malay, Western and Arabic themed dishes. The buffet will run from 4 to 27 March 2025, in conjunction with the month of Ramadan, and will pamper diners with authentic heritage flavours and traditional favourites.

This year’s buffet at Poolside Terrace focuses on the concept of celebration and grand feasting, taking guests to a lively Malay feast atmosphere with special decorations, music and menus. Apart from the Malay and Western dishes, the highlight of this buffet is the famous Biryani Specials from Poolside Terrace Café, prepared according to a family recipe that has been passed down for generations. The chef’s own prepared biryani spice paste ensures that every bite is packed with depth and deliciousness.

In addition, diners can also enjoy Kambing Golek (grilled lamb), freshly grilled satay, and kid-friendly dishes. To celebrate Hari Raya, the buffet also serves Lemang and Ketupat, bringing a sense of joy and celebration to every meal.

This year’s Citarasa Warisan Buffet features around 70 diverse dishes, combining timeless classic recipes with new innovations. Sharing these special dishes with family, friends, or colleagues is sure to create an unforgettable dining experience, while experiencing the warmth of traditional Malaysian dining culture.

Behind the success of Citarasa Warisan is Chef Azman bin Rogi Khan, a talented chef with over 9 years of experience in the F&B industry. Despite holding a diploma in Information Technology from MSU, his deep interest in cooking led him to study culinary arts from the age of 18. At the age of 22, Chef Azman fully focused on mastering Malay and Middle Eastern cuisine.

As the Director of AAHR Catering Enterprise and AAHR Management SB, Chef Azman now operates five cafes under his company, showcasing his ability to provide high-quality dining experiences. He has been honored to provide catering for prestigious clients, including the Royal Family of Negeri Sembilan, PETRONAS, and SPNB (Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad). In addition, Chef Azman was also awarded the title of “Best Caterer” by the Royal Family of Negeri Sembilan.

Among Chef Azman’s signature dishes is the Biryani Rice, which is prepared with homemade biryani spice paste. Each bite delivers rich flavors and high-quality ingredients, ensuring an unforgettable dining experience. The Biryani Rice will be available throughout the buffet period, giving diners the opportunity to enjoy it on every visit.

The Heritage Flavours Buffet at Poolside Terrace, KGNS is set to be a feast for all. With approximately 150 seats available daily from 4 to 27 March 2025, make sure to book your table as soon as possible to experience this special buffet.
