Ruby Jubilee and the NONA Gala Awards 2026
For four decades, premier women’s lifestyle brand NONA has stood at the forefront of championing female empowerment, spotlighting inspiring narratives, and chronicling cultural milestones. Marking its 40th anniversary, the brand officially launched its Ruby Jubilee celebrations with the vibrant NONA Media Soirée, hosted at The Heritage Club, Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur. Presented by NONA in collaboration with seeNI and backed by main sponsor SFJ, the afternoon centered around the theme “An Afternoon Among Trailblazers & Icons,” commemorating four decades of leadership and storytelling since the brand’s inception in 1986.

The milestone event honors women across generations from trailblazers who laid foundational legacies to modern leaders breaking boundaries and young visionaries defining the future. During the soirée, members of the media received an exclusive first look at the upcoming NONA Gala Awards 2026, which introduces two new major recognition categories NONA Rising 40 Under 40 and the NONA People’s Choice Icons of the Year. These additions highlight the brand’s commitment to honoring both seasoned figures and emerging talents who are shaping the nation’s cultural and economic landscape.
Future Vision for NONA Magazine
Chief Executive Officer of Nu Ideaktiv Sdn. Bhd., Syamil Fahim Mohamed Fahim, emphasized that this 40-year milestone looks firmly toward the future rather than simply reflecting on past accomplishments. He noted that the anniversary serves to bridge generational gaps, ensuring NONA remains a relevant platform that inspires, celebrates, and evolves alongside Malaysian women for the next four decades.
Set to be the crown jewel of the anniversary year, the NONA Gala Awards 2026 will celebrate individuals who lead with purpose, redefine success, and impact society positively. Audiences nationwide will be able to join the celebrations, as the gala night will be streamed live via the official YouTube and Facebook channels of both NONA and Mingguan Wanita. Four decades in, NONA continues to foster community, champion change, and enrich the ongoing conversation surrounding women in Malaysia.
