Lotus’s Malaysia Commemorates One Year by Volunteering

Today marks the one-year anniversary of Lotuss Stores (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a well-known store in Malaysia. Since its official brand launch in 2022, Lotus’s Malaysia has expanded to 65 stores across Peninsular Malaysia, bringing Every Day SMART Delights to the neighbourhood by providing customers with shopping convenience, the best value for their money, quality, and a wide selection of Lotus’s Own Brand products, as well as by becoming the centre of the neighbourhood through its #KitakanJiran programmes. Achieving their carbon neutrality goals by 2030 also includes embracing the usage of effective and high-performance operating equipment in stores and increasing the clean energy mix through solar panel installations.

President of Lotus’s Malaysia, Kenneth Chuah elaborates, “Since establishing our brand in the country, we’ve built great partnerships with all our partners and continue to gain consumers’ trust and support in Malaysia. As we have grown, our ability to impact our community has also increased. I am very proud of Lotus’s Malaysia’s contributions and the culture of volunteerism and engagement we have fostered through #KitakanJiran, including our focus in the areas of sustainability. We want to thank everyone who has contributed to this success and invite all our customers to participate in the programmes we have installed throughout the campaign period”.

For its anniversary Lotus’s Malaysia launches its Kongsi Ceria campaign filled with exciting deals, fun in store activities and its Lotus’s Kongsi Ceria Charity Booklet from 11 May to 7 June 2023. The charity booklet aims to raise funds for four organisations specializing in children’s health and wellbeing: Pusat Perubatan University Malaya Children’s Cancer Unit, Tender Touch Pediatric Rehab for children with developmental disabilities, Gabungan Anak-Anak Palsi Serebrum (GAPS) and Nourish Malaysia. The Kongsi Ceria Charity Booklet is available at all 65 Lotus’s stores, Lotus’s Shop Online, Lazada, Shopee, foodpanda and Grab at only RM1. The booklet contains coupons, giving consumers savings totaling RM600 on more than 6,000 lines of products. All proceeds from the booklet purchases will be channeled to these four organisations.

Other than giving back to children in need, Lotus’s Malaysia have also installed a series of exciting in store and online activities for consumers that will run through until 7 June.
