The ENCHANTING CULTURAL FESTIVAL 2025, themed “Embracing Malaysia Art, Heritage & Culture”, will take place on 15 and 16 November 2025 at the Main Atrium, Level 1 of KLGCC Mall. Organised by Brand Media Group, this two-day event brings together traditional artistry, cultural craftsmanship and creative expressions that showcase Malaysia’s rich textile heritage and diverse cultural identity.
Held with the mission to preserve, empower and celebrate Malaysia’s cultural legacy, the festival strengthens community connections through arts, heritage and culture. It aligns with the Malaysia National Agenda MADANI, UNESCO’s cultural preservation values and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, highlighting the importance of education and heritage conservation. The event also nurtures local talents, encourages creative communities and inspires youth to appreciate and carry forward Malaysia’s cultural traditions.
A major highlight of the festival is a special heritage showcase dedicated to the craftsmanship of Telepuk, Kelingkan and Batik. These textile traditions, once reserved for royalty and ceremonial purposes, are presented through archival displays, rare artifacts and live demonstrations. Telepuk features delicate gold leaf applications that reflect the grandeur of Malay court traditions. Kelingkan embroidery, made using gold or silver threads, represents the meticulous artistry commonly seen in traditional bridal wear. Batik, with its centuries-old wax-resist dyeing technique, symbolises Malaysia’s creativity and cultural evolution. Together, these crafts form a living record of the nation’s artistic excellence, bridging generations through heritage and storytelling.
The festival is graced by distinguished guests who advocate for cultural preservation, including Che Puan Datin Hezeita Mohd Hafidz as Guest of Honour, Datuk Dr. Ammar Ghapar, Encik Mohd Radzi Bin Omar from JKKN, YBrs. Puan Rozzana Binti Rahmat from PADAT, Encik Zahari Bin Mat from the Department of National Heritage and YBrs. Puan Suraya Norin Binti Ismail from the Ministry of Education. Their presence reinforces the collective commitment to elevating Malaysia’s cultural identity at both national and global levels.
Visitors can look forward to a vibrant cultural experience throughout the festival. The Heritage Motifs & Pattern Showcase presents the artistry of Telepuk, Kelingkan and Batik, offering both education and inspiration. The Arts & Cultural Showcase by local artisans features creative works that celebrate Malaysia’s cultural diversity. Families and children can enjoy the Traditional Malaysian Games section, which brings classic heritage games back to life.
The ENCHANTING CULTURAL FESTIVAL 2025 is strongly supported by partners such as KLGCC Mall, the Department of National Heritage, PADAT, the Ministry of Education Malaysia, Langkasuka Movement, AFSM SewTech Academy, Pertubuhan Kelingkan D’Ehsan, Alina Batik and A&T Fashion Technology. These partnerships enhance efforts to preserve living heritage, encourage youth participation and promote inclusivity and sustainability in cultural development.

Through collaboration between public agencies, NGOs and creative practitioners, the event reinforces culture as a vital pillar of national identity and societal harmony.
