This Hari Raya, Dominos Pizza turned up the celebration with a pizza party like no other, giving away more than 13,000 personal-sized ShaWAHma Pizzas in a spectacular one-day nationwide event.
Held on 10 April 2025, the Dominos WAH Raya Open House brought together Malaysians from all walks of life, as more than 260 Dominos stores nationwide, including in Sabah and Sarawak, joined in the festive giveaway. The buzz was undeniable long queues formed outside outlets across the country, with eager customers lining up early to be among the first 50 at each store to receive a free ShaWAHma Pizza.
The ShaWAHma Pizza, a limited-time flavour inspired by bold Middle Eastern tastes, was introduced to give Hari Raya celebrations a unique and flavourful twist. Available in Chicken or Beef, the pizza is topped with spiced meat, creamy Shawarma sauce, cherry tomatoes, onions, stretchy mozzarella, and a generous garlic drizzle. The Chicken ShaWAHma is paired with crunchy green peppers, while the Beef version features refreshing cucumber slices. For those wanting a more indulgent bite, the Cheese Volcano crust filled with molten cheddar adds an extra layer of richness.
More than 13,000 personal-sized ShaWAHma Pizzas were given away nationwide at over 260 Domino’s stores nationwide, including Sabah and Sarawak.
The one-day event brought smiles and surprise across the country, with customers taking to social media and in-person chats to share their excitement.
Ahmad Ihsan, 48, from Kuala Kangsar, Perak said his colleagues and he were on their way out when they saw the ShaWAHma Pizza giveaway happening at the nearby Dominos. It was a pleasant surprise and a fun break from their usual routine. He had the Beef ShaWAHma, and said it really hit the spot and was definitely the highlight of their day.
Cheryl Lim, 32, from Kepong shared that she was heading out for a quick bite when she noticed the crowd at Dominos. Curious, she walked over and found out about the ShaWAHma Pizza giveaway. She tried the Chicken ShaWAHma and loved it the garlic drizzle was the perfect touch. It really turned an ordinary workday into something unexpectedly enjoyable.
A UNITAR International University student from Kelana Jaya added that word about the giveaway spread on campus. A few classmates decided to check it out after class. The ShaWAHma Pizza was refreshing and unique something different that they all enjoyed.
Revathy Suresh, 40, from Kuantan, Pahang said she saw the queue forming at Dominos on her way home after picking up her son from school. She decided to join in and was excited to try the new ShaWAHma Pizza. After tasting it, she ended up purchasing the Cheese Volcano ShaWAHma Chicken Pizza to bring home for her family.
