vivo Malaysia hosted an exclusive photography workshop titled “Beyond X-traordinary: Capturing Nature’s Finest” to showcase the imaging capabilities of the vivo X300 Series, introduced as The Ultimate Travel Phone. The event began at Oomph Tropika in Bukit Jalil on 27 November 2025, followed by an outdoor photography excursion at the Bukit Jelutong Eco Community Park, allowing participants to experience the device in real shooting environments.
The workshop was designed to highlight the X300 Series’ strengths in landscape, wildlife, flora and nature photography. Equipped with ZEISS optics, a 200MP Ultra-Clear system, advanced AI imaging and extended zoom capabilities, participants were able to experiment with multiple features including AI One-Shot Multi-Crop, 200MP Ultra HD Portrait, Adaptive Zoom Flash, and telephoto performance through focal lengths reaching up to 800mm using the X300 Pro’s Telephoto Extender Kit.
Professional photographer Yusff Madi guided participants through composition, natural lighting and subject-focused techniques before they boarded the bus to the eco park for practical shooting. At the park, they captured landscapes, close-up details, wildlife movement and portrait scenarios while testing various focal lengths and modes prepared specifically for the workshop. The event also required the use of vivo’s official watermark and EasyShare app for seamless file transfer, a process aligned with the official guidelines provided to all creators.
The vivo X300 Series was showcased as a breakthrough in mobile imaging with its 200MP Ultra-Sensing HPB sensor, ZEISS APO telephoto system, 4K 120fps video capability and Pro Imaging Chip VS1 on the X300 Pro. The Telephoto Extender Kit enabled participants to explore professional-grade zoom options at 200mm, 400mm and 800mm, demonstrating how the device could deliver DSLR-level results while remaining fully mobile. The device also features robust travel-focused elements such as IP68 and IP69 durability ratings, BlueVolt battery technology and a ZEISS Master Color Display that enhances visual accuracy for both shooting and post-viewing.
After the outdoor session, participants returned to Oomph Tropika for lunch and the photography contest judging session. Winning entries were selected based on composition, clarity and creative use of the X300’s imaging tools. The event concluded with appreciation announcements and a reminder for participants to share their content using the official campaign tags to highlight their experience with the X300 Series.
