KUALA LUMPUR, 2 APRIL 2026 – The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) returns with its highly anticipated MATTA Fair April 2026, taking place from 3 to 5 April at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur. Marking its 58th edition, the event sets a new benchmark as the largest consumer travel fair in Malaysia, spanning an impressive 40,820 square metres across 10 halls. This year’s fair features 2,051 booths from 332 participating organisations, offering visitors an extensive range of travel packages, tourism services, and exclusive deals, further reinforcing MATTA’s position as a leading platform for travel planning.
The fair showcases strong industry participation, including 210 tour and travel agencies, 6 National Tourism Organisations, and 11 State Tourism Organisations, alongside hotels, theme parks, and travel-related service providers. With Johor highlighted as Malaysia’s Favourite Destination and Macao as the International Favourite Destination, visitors are presented with diverse travel inspirations both locally and globally. Strategic partnerships, including Malaysia Aviation Group as Official Airline Partner and RHB Bank as Official Bank Partner, enhance the overall visitor experience with improved accessibility and value-added services.
In line with its commitment to sustainable tourism, MATTA continues to champion eco-conscious travel through its MESTI Pavilion.
