After spending an extended period refining their sound behind closed doors, the Thai-based alternative rock band Tilly Birds return to mark a new chapter in their musical journey with the release of their first full-length English album, I’ll Remember To Forget You. Created as a way to connect with a wider international audience through a more globally accessible musical language, the album preserves the band’s distinctive identity while allowing their music to travel further than ever before.
The 13-track album is built around the emotional contradiction of wanting to forget while being unable to let go. Moving through themes of memory, fractured relationships and the slow, often painful process of release, the record reflects the band’s earliest aspirations from the time when Tilly Birds first began writing songs in English. Throughout the album, listeners can hear a clear evolution in the band’s sound, arrangements and storytelling, now shaped with a broader international sensibility while retaining the emotional depth that has always defined their work.

Despite its more global outlook, the album remains unmistakably Tilly Birds at its core, driven by memorable melodies, gradual emotional builds and carefully crafted details that give each track its own character. In the lead-up to the album’s release, the band introduced the project through a series of singles including White Pills, Retro-39, Never A Waste Of Time, Heaven featuring Ben&Ben, and Call It A Day. Together, these tracks established the album as an open and emotionally resonant body of work, ready to connect with listeners across borders.
Completing the album’s narrative, Tilly Birds release Shouting Eyes as the final focus single from the project. Built on a bold alternative sound that remains contemporary and accessible, the song explores an unspoken emotional power struggle, where words may deny the truth but the eyes reveal everything. It examines the quiet tension of concealed feelings and poses the question of who truly holds control when emotions can no longer be hidden.
The accompanying music video for Shouting Eyes is directed by Jean Khamkwan, who draws viewers into this emotional standoff through layered and cinematic storytelling. The visual narrative captures the intensity of unspoken emotions, translating subtle psychological shifts into striking and evocative imagery.
In addition to Shouting Eyes, the album features seven further tracks: Dearest Tears, Our Happy Place, If You Say So featuring James Alyn, Dirty Knees, Before The Sun Can Shine, Let Me Down In The Morning, and the title track I’ll Remember To Forget You. Each song adds a distinct emotional shade, gradually completing the album’s journey from longing to release.
I’ll Remember To Forget You is more than Tilly Birds’ first English-language album. It represents an open space the band has created for their music to travel further, connecting listeners in Thailand and beyond through shared emotions, memories and moments of reflection. Much like experiencing a film told through sound, the album invites listeners to confront their own feelings as its story unfolds. The album is now available on all streaming platforms worldwide.
