ST Rosyam Mart has officially expanded into Johor with the opening of its first outlet in Southern Malaysia at Paragon Market Place, Tampoi, attracting more than 15,000 shoppers within its first 24 hours.
The grand opening on 12 September also saw more than 10,000 new members signing up during the pre-opening period and Grand Opening Day, reflecting strong interest in the supermarket’s arrival in the state.
The Tampoi outlet marks ST Rosyam Mart’s 10th supermarket and its largest outlet to date, spanning approximately 70,000 square feet. It is also the brand’s third supermarket located within a shopping mall.
Operating 24 hours daily, ST Rosyam Mart Tampoi offers customers a modern wholesale and retail shopping experience with more than 40,000 product selections. The outlet features wide walkways, organised product sections, a bulk grocery area, customer service counter, ample self-checkout (SCO) and cashier counters, as well as ST Cafe and seroti.
The supermarket also introduces several unique offerings, including Celebrity Corner, which features products from more than 30 local celebrities, and Malaysia Selection, showcasing locally made snacks, beverages, gifts and souvenirs.

Beyond retail offerings, the outlet provides more than 20 complimentary services designed to improve convenience for shoppers. These include drinking water, power banks, meat-cutting services, helmet cleaning, refrigerated lockers, car battery jump-start assistance, tyre pump services and more.
The Tampoi outlet also caters to businesses such as small retailers, restaurants and caterers, allowing them to purchase goods in bulk at wholesale prices.

According to Dato’ Raymond Ho Cheng Hann, the expansion into Johor represents an important step in Sri Ternak Group’s growth strategy, particularly given the state’s growing consumer market and strategic proximity to Singapore.
The launch also highlighted ST Rosyam Mart’s commitment to providing accessible daily necessities at wholesale prices, while offering a comfortable shopping environment for both individual consumers and businesses.
As part of the opening celebration, the supermarket offered whole fresh chicken for just 8 sen to the first 5,000 customers. Other activities included a Balloon Drop with prizes worth up to RM10,000, a fireworks display, food tasting, live entertainment, giveaways and family activities.

The opening also marked the debut of ST Rosyam Mart’s new mascots, Jalak and Lenteng.
