With less than a month remaining before entries close on 16 August 2026, HUAWEI is encouraging Malaysians to take part in the Pura Trip “Discover Truly Malaysia” Photography Campaign, organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC) and Tourism Malaysia.
The campaign invites participants to explore local destinations, capture their favourite travel moments using any HUAWEI smartphone, including the latest HUAWEI Pura 90s Series, and showcase Malaysia’s unique stories through mobile photography.
Participants stand a chance to win a HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max as the winner of the Pura Trip Photography Campaign. Selected entries will also be considered for the HUAWEI XMAGE Awards 2026 Malaysia, where the Grand Prize winner will receive a HUAWEI Mate X7.
As part of the ongoing campaign, HUAWEI recently hosted the “Discover Truly Malaysia” workshop at the HUAWEI Experience Store at The Exchange TRX on 25 July. The workshop gave photography enthusiasts the opportunity to explore the creative possibilities of mobile photography through hands-on imaging experiences, including composition guidance, outdoor photography sessions and creative sticker printing activities, while discovering the advanced imaging capabilities of the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series.
Participants can submit their travel photographs for a chance to win exclusive HUAWEI prizes while being considered for the HUAWEI XMAGE Awards 2026 Malaysia. As part of HUAWEI’s global mobile photography platform, the awards recognise creative work captured using HUAWEI smartphones and provide photographers with an opportunity to showcase their work to a wider audience.
Entries can be submitted across nine categories under the HUAWEI XMAGE Awards 2026 Malaysia. The categories include So Far So Close, Colour & Shade, Good Night, Faces, A Heartwarming World, Experimental Lab, Active Moments, Storyboard and Action, each highlighting different aspects of creativity, storytelling, movement, perspective, colour and human expression.
Malaysian winners will receive a range of HUAWEI prizes. The Grand Prize winner will receive a HUAWEI Mate X7, while two First Runner-up winners will each receive a HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro. Ten Second Runner-up winners will each receive a HUAWEI FreeClip 2, and 15 Honourable Mention recipients will each receive a HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5. All winners will also receive an official trophy.
Participants may submit their travel photographs by uploading their entries via the official submission website at bit.ly/HUAWEIXMAGEMY2026 or by posting them on Instagram, following and tagging @huaweimobilemy, and including the hashtags #PuraTripMY, #HUAWEIXMAGEMY2026 and #HUAWEIXMAGE before the closing date on 16 August 2026. All entries must be photographed using a HUAWEI smartphone.

Customers will also receive free gifts worth up to RM3,076, including a limited voucher worth up to RM400, a mystery gift worth RM999 and the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series Premium Service Package worth RM1,677.
In addition, customers purchasing the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series can enjoy a 10% discount on selected Malaysia Airlines flights, together with a 10% discount via SPayLater, capped at RM200 with a minimum spend of RM2,000, making it even more rewarding to explore more destinations across Malaysia.
