DJI has officially introduced the DJI Mic Mini 2S, the company’s first mini wireless microphone featuring built-in internal recording. Building on the success of the DJI Mic Mini 2, the latest generation is designed for content creators who want reliable, high-quality audio recording in a compact and flexible form factor.
The DJI Mic Mini 2S features 32-bit float internal recording with up to 28 hours of storage, cross-generation 4TX + 1RX connectivity, and dual-level AI noise cancellation, making it suitable for a wide range of recording scenarios including solo filming, street interviews, podcasts, and multi-person productions.
The microphone offers a more secure recording experience by reducing the risk of losing audio during unpredictable shooting conditions. Its 32-bit float internal recording provides creators with greater flexibility during post-production by capturing a wide dynamic range, from soft whispers to sudden loud sounds without clipping.
Each transmitter includes approximately 14.5GB of built-in storage, allowing up to 28 hours of audio recording in the default 24-bit mode.
To deliver cleaner and more professional audio, the DJI Mic Mini 2S features two AI-powered noise cancellation modes. The Basic mode reduces common indoor background noises such as fans, air conditioners, and room echoes, while the Strong mode filters louder outdoor noise to ensure speech remains clear.
Additional audio features include Clipping Control, which automatically reduces audio levels when sudden volume spikes occur, and Loudness Balance, which dynamically maintains consistent output levels during interviews and live streaming sessions.
Users can also choose from three voice presets. Regular delivers balanced and natural audio, Bright enhances vocal clarity and presence, while Rich provides fuller and warmer tones, reducing the need for extensive post-production editing.
Designed for more advanced production setups, one receiver can simultaneously connect with up to four transmitters, making it suitable for roundtable discussions, podcasts, interviews, and small group productions.
The DJI Mic Mini 2S is also compatible with previous DJI microphone generations, including the Mic Mini, Mic Mini 2 transmitters, and DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver, providing creators with a cost-effective upgrade path while expanding their existing audio equipment.
Weighing only approximately 12g, the transmitter supports both clip-on and magnetic mounting options for comfortable everyday use. The removable magnetic front cover allows creators to personalise the microphone to match their outfit or production style.
DJI also offers optional colourful magnetic front covers, including the Time Series Magnetic Front Cover Collection designed in collaboration with internationally renowned illustrator Victo Ngai, featuring artwork inspired by different stages of life.
The DJI Mic Mini 2S integrates seamlessly with selected DJI cameras including the Osmo Pocket 4P, Osmo Pocket 4, Osmo 360, Osmo Nano and Osmo Action 6. Through DJI OsmoAudio Direct Connection, the transmitter delivers premium 48kHz 24-bit audio directly to compatible devices without requiring a receiver, providing a cleaner and more streamlined wireless workflow.

Pricing starts at RM699 for the DJI Mic Mini 2S (2 TX + 1 RX + Charging Case), while the DJI Mic Mini 2S (1 TX + 1 RX) and DJI Mic Mini 2S (1 TX + 1 Mobile RX + Charging Case) are priced at RM419. The standalone transmitter retails at RM299, the charging case at RM159, the Colourful Magnetic Front Cover Set at RM59, and the Time Series Magnetic Front Cover Set at RM129.
