Drawing inspiration from the discipline and endurance of rigorous tactical training, HONOR Malaysia has put its latest smartphone, the HONOR X9e Pro, through an extreme commercial series featuring four military-inspired gauntlets.
Pushing the device’s build quality and water ingress capabilities far beyond conventional parameters, the trials evaluate the handset across jungle survival, precision shooting, an obstacle course, and deep underwater submersion.
Throughout these intense scenarios, the HONOR X9e Pro endures severe drops onto jagged rocks, high-impact blunt force, thick mud, and extended liquid exposure, emerging fully operational every time to showcase its Extreme Armor-Tough Durability and Ultra-Tough Water Resistance engineered for unpredictable real-life accidents.
The handset’s exceptional resilience is powered by next-generation Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Technology 4.0, which enables it to survive drops from heights of up to 3 metres while decreasing display damage by up to 82%, backed by an SGS 5-Star Certification for Drop Resistance in Harsh Conditions. Under high-impact stress, its structure is reinforced with full high-energy shear-resistant adhesive that delivers ten times greater bonding strength to keep the internal chassis and screen assembly locked firmly in place. Furthermore, the device boasts comprehensive IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings alongside a submarine-inspired multi-compartment design, allowing it to withstand water depths reaching 10 metres. While military-style trials represent worst-case conditions, the underlying engineering provides everyday users with unmatched peace of mind against sudden pavement drops, harsh downpours, and kitchen spills.
The HONOR X9e Pro will officially arrive in Malaysian stores on 9 October 2026, offering consumers attractive early-bird bundles valued at RM1,326. Early purchasers will receive a complimentary HONOR Watch 6i, 730 days of front and back screen crack replacement, 730 days of liquid protection, a 1-year extended warranty, and a RM100 direct payment rebate.
