KUALA LUMPUR – Local food and beverage giant Fraser & Neave Holdings Bhd (F&NHB) marked a major milestone in advancing Halal assurance across its regional operations with the launch of the F&N Group Regional Halal Handbook at the World Halal Business Conference (WHBC) 2026, held during the Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS). The high-profile launch was jointly officiated by senior leadership from F&NHB, Halal Development Corporation (HDC) Berhad, the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM), and the Central Islamic Council of Thailand (CICOT). This strategic initiative underscores F&NHB’s long-standing dedication to championing global Halal standards, aligning with its stature as a Shariah-compliant enterprise listed on Bursa Malaysia’s Main Board with an annual turnover exceeding RM5 billion.

Commending the initiative, HDC Chief Commercial Officer Mohd Zamulud Awang Kechik noted that embedding structured governance across sourcing, production, and third-party logistics enhances transparency and trust among partners and consumers alike. By enforcing strict zero-non-Halal policies across manufacturing sites and continuous auditing of supply chain partners, F&NHB solidifies its position as a global benchmark in Halal excellence.
