ASUS Malaysia has announced three new business grade laptops under its ASUS ExpertBook P Series, comprising the ASUS ExpertBook P3 G1, ASUS ExpertBook P5 G1 and ASUS ExpertBook PM5 G2. The new lineup combines enterprise grade reliability, AI capabilities and powerful performance for students and working professionals.
The launch expands the ASUS ExpertBook lineup beyond traditional enterprise IT deployments, making its reliability, security and AI powered productivity features more accessible to students and everyday professionals through retail channels.
Known for military grade durability, the ASUS ExpertBook series is designed to withstand the demands of both workplace and campus environments. The laptops undergo rigorous testing to handle everyday incidents including bumps, drops and spills, with a focus on providing long term reliability.
The latest ExpertBook P Series also places a strong emphasis on AI powered productivity. The lineup consists of two AI PCs and one Copilot+ PC, providing intelligent capabilities designed to streamline workflows and help users work, create and complete everyday tasks more efficiently.
Connectivity is another key focus across the new lineup. The laptops offer a comprehensive selection of ports and can support up to three external 4K monitors. This provides additional workspace for tasks such as data analysis, content creation and coding without requiring users to constantly switch between applications or windows.
ASUS has also reinforced the I/O ports on the ExpertBook series to improve durability. The ports have been tested to withstand up to 9 kg of physical force, helping to minimise disruptions, potential repair costs and downtime over the lifespan of the device.
The new models also feature ASUS AI ExpertMeet, which brings AI powered collaboration features to everyday business meetings. AI Meeting Minutes can automatically capture and organise key discussion points, while AI Translated Subtitles provides real time multilingual translation for collaboration across global teams.
With AI processing performed directly on the device, meeting data remains securely on the PC, helping businesses protect sensitive information while benefiting from AI assisted productivity.
The ASUS ExpertBook P3 G1, ExpertBook P5 G1 and ExpertBook PM5 G2 are available in 14 inch and 16 inch options. The smaller models are aimed at professionals and students who prioritise portability, while the 16 inch versions provide additional viewing space for multitasking.
Across the lineup, a 16:10 display aspect ratio provides more vertical screen space compared with traditional 16:9 displays. This allows users to view more information when reading documents, working with spreadsheets, browsing websites or coding.
The ASUS ExpertBook P3 G1 is designed as a practical business laptop for professionals and students. Powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, it combines responsive performance with business grade durability and productivity features for office workloads, virtual classes, assignments and collaborative projects.
Meanwhile, the ASUS ExpertBook P5 G1 is positioned as a premium all round business laptop that balances performance, portability and productivity. Powered by an AI enabled Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, it comes with 32GB DDR5 RAM and a 512GB SSD as standard.
It also features a 16:10 OLED display, while the 14 inch model starts at just 1.29kg, making it suitable for professionals and students who regularly work or study on the move.
For more demanding AI workloads, the ASUS ExpertBook PM5 G2 is powered by up to an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX processor with up to 55 NPU TOPS of on device AI performance. It comes with 32GB DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD as standard, complemented by an OLED display for improved visual clarity during extended work or study sessions.
The ASUS ExpertBook P3 G1, ExpertBook P5 G1 and ExpertBook PM5 G2 are now available in Malaysia through selected ASUS authorised retail and online channels.
The ASUS ExpertBook P3 G1 starts at RM4,799, while the ASUS ExpertBook P5 G1 starts at RM7,999. The ASUS ExpertBook PM5 G2 starts at RM9,399 and is available online through the ASUS e Store and ASUS ExpertBook official stores on Shopee and Lazada.
All ASUS ExpertBook models also come with ASUS Business Advantage, which includes up to three years of on site warranty, one year of ASUS LADP covering accidental damage, a three year McAfee Security subscription and one year of free VPN access.
