THE BRIDGE OF LEGENDS TO BRING HONG KONG CELEBRITIES AND SELANGOR FC LEGENDS TOGETHER FOR CHARITY MATCH

Football and entertainment fans are set to witness a unique sporting spectacle as The Bridge of Legends Hong Kong Celebrities Football Friendly Match brings together a team of Hong Kong celebrities and football enthusiasts with Selangor FC Legends for a special charity match. Organised by Orange Leisure Sdn Bhd and co-organised by Pew Pew Resource, the event will take place on Saturday, 10 October 2026, from 8.00pm to 10.00pm at MBPJ Stadium, Petaling Jaya.

The match will feature FC3 Club, a football team formed by professionals working behind the scenes in Hong Kong’s entertainment industry who share a genuine passion for the sport. Built around the philosophy of “Standing Strong at Thirty”, FC3 brings together members with an average age of around 30 who are united by their love for football. Beyond the pitch, the club aims to foster friendship, encourage networking and provide members with an opportunity to pursue their football aspirations while balancing their professional careers.

The FC3 squad features a line-up of well-known Hong Kong celebrities and football enthusiasts, including Kaho Hung, Jer Lau (Jer@MIRROR), Tony Wu, Siu Hin Ng, Carlos Chan, Adrian Chau, Edward Ma, Elvin Wong, Yatho Wong, Jonathan Li, Terry Ng, Cheung Man, Sean Man, former Hong Kong representative footballer Kumar So and Tong Kin Man. The team is captained by Locker Lam and coached by former Hong Kong representative team captain Chan Wai Ho.

FC3 holds regular weekly training sessions and actively participates in amateur football competitions across Hong Kong. The club is also committed to community outreach, using sports as a platform to promote physical and mental well-being while encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle.

For this special charity match, FC3 will go head-to-head with Selangor FC Legends. Adding a meaningful charitable element to the highly anticipated encounter, a portion of the event proceeds will be donated to Make-A-Wish Malaysia. The initiative aims to support the organisation in granting wishes and bringing hope and joy to children facing critical illnesses.

Founded in 1921, Selangor FC is one of Malaysia’s most successful football clubs and currently competes in the Malaysia Super League. Throughout its illustrious history, the club has secured a record 33 Malaysia Cup titles, seven Malaysia Super League championships, two Premier League titles, seven FAM League championships, five FA Cup titles and eight Charity Shield victories.
