Algorithmic Organisms 2.0 Debuts as Malaysia’s First Immersive Audiovisual Art Experience

Imagine walking through an exhibition where the artwork is never the same twice. That is exactly what visitors can expect at Algorithmic Organisms 2.0, Malaysia’s first immersive audiovisual art experience, now open at The Grey Box, GMBB Kuala Lumpur from 4 until 19 July 2026. Combining artificial intelligence, immersive sound, generative visuals and spatial storytelling, the exhibition redefines how audiences experience contemporary art by transforming every visitor into part of the creative journey.

Presented by MAISEAT and organised by Jazzy Group of Companies with support from the National Art Gallery of Malaysia (Balai Seni Negara), the exhibition showcases how cutting-edge technology can become a powerful artistic tool. Instead of static displays, visitors enter a constantly evolving digital environment where AI-generated imagery and responsive audiovisual elements create a unique atmosphere that changes in real time, ensuring that no two visits are identical.

Founder and CEO of Jazzy Group of Companies, Joanne Goh, said the exhibition aims to encourage people to experience art beyond traditional boundaries. By combining innovation with creativity, Algorithmic Organisms 2.0 challenges audiences to engage with artworks in a more immersive and personal way while opening conversations about the future relationship between technology, culture and artistic expression.

One of the exhibition’s major highlights is the participation of internationally renowned Dutch audiovisual artist Ray Tijssen, better known as 0010×0010. Through a specially curated walkthrough, visitors gain first-hand insight into the creative concepts behind the installations and discover how advanced digital technologies can evoke emotion, imagination and human connection rather than simply showcasing technological capability.

To complement the exhibition, visitors can also attend the exclusive Machine Vision & Human Expression masterclass led by Ray Tijssen at the National Art Gallery of Malaysia. Designed for artists, students, designers and creative enthusiasts, the session explores the evolving role of AI in artistic practice while offering participants the opportunity to engage directly with one of the field’s leading audiovisual creators.

Adding even more value, GMBB shoppers can enjoy a special promotional ticket offer by presenting a same-day purchase receipt to redeem exhibition tickets at RM35 each, making this groundbreaking experience more accessible to the public. Whether you’re an art lover, technology enthusiast or simply looking for a unique weekend activity, Algorithmic Organisms 2.0 promises an unforgettable journey where creativity, innovation and imagination come together in one immersive space.
