vivo Malaysia today introduced its latest flagship devices, the vivo X300 and vivo X300 Pro, marking a significant milestone as the brand celebrates its 30th anniversary. The new X300 series continues vivo’s legacy of user-focused innovation, standing out with its groundbreaking 200 MP ZEISS Ultra-Clear Imaging system, which sets a new benchmark for smartphone photography. Alongside its imaging capabilities, the series brings major enhancements in performance, design, and software for a refined and premium user experience in Malaysia’s flagship market.
The entire vivo X300 Series Launch Event was both live-streamed and recorded using the vivo X300 Pro. With its 200 MP ZEISS APO Telephoto Camera, the device captured every performance of the event from multiple angles with remarkable clarity, speed, and versatility. Building on its appearance at the KFinity Music Festival earlier this month, vivo Malaysia will continue collaborating with leading artists such as Accusefive, reinforcing how the X300 Series transforms concerts, creativity, and live experiences with professional-grade imaging.
The vivo X300 Pro debuts with a 200 MP ZEISS APO Telephoto Camera powered by the upgraded Ultra-Sensing Sensor HPB, enabling exceptionally detailed and ultra-clear images. Its 50 MP ZEISS Gimbal-Grade Main Camera features a large 1/1.28-inch sensor and CIPA 5.5-rated stabilisation, offering faster, more stable, and sharper photography. The device also integrates the new Pro Imaging Chip VS1, which enhances image processing speed, clarity, and noise reduction.
The vivo X300 features a 200 MP ZEISS Main Camera and carries the same Ultra-Sensing Sensor HPB with CIPA 4.5-rated stabilisation, delivering a major leap in stability and clarity. The front camera system has also been upgraded, with a 50 MP ZEISS Wide-Angle Front Camera equipped with autofocus for consistently sharp images at various distances. Both models support the vivo ZEISS 2.35x Telephoto Extender Kit, offering superior telephoto performance for capturing concerts, sports events, and wide-ranging scenery with greater detail and soft, natural bokeh.
The series introduces enhanced photography and videography features designed to encourage limitless creativity. Stage Mode 2.0 captures dynamic concert moments from multiple angles, while 4K Stage All-in-One Recording allows users to capture high-resolution photos even while filming. Dual-View Stage Video enables simultaneous use of two cameras, making it easy to capture both performer and audience reactions in a single frame. The devices also deliver ultra-clear portrait photography with natural retouching, precise details, night scene optimisation, and smooth portrait snapshots across various focal lengths.
For video professionals, both models support 4K 120 fps Pro Video. The vivo X300 Pro additionally offers 4K 120 fps Dolby Vision Video and 4K 120 fps 10-bit Log Video on both its main and telephoto cameras. The inclusion of AI Image Studio further enhances shooting efficiency with features such as AI One-Shot Multi-Crop, AI Landscape Master, and Live Photo Passerby Erase.
The vivo X300 series also marks the Malaysian debut of OriginOS 6. Supported by Ultra-core Computing, Memory Fusion, and Dual Rendering engines, the new system delivers a smoother, more personalised, and highly intelligent user experience. The Origin Smooth Engine enhances system-wide fluidity, while the All-New Origin Design System introduces a visually elegant interface. Flip Cards add a dynamic, gyroscope-based interaction style for easier personalisation. Origin Island offers smart suggestions for daily tasks, and vivo Office Kit enables seamless device-to-device productivity with features like mirroring, Free Transfer, and multi-device notes. The new vivo Security brand consolidates privacy features, including a secure Private Space with hardware-level encryption. The vivo X300 series will receive five years of OS upgrades for long-term reliability.
At the core of the X300 series is the Dimensity 9500 chip, co-developed by vivo and MediaTek using TSMC’s N3P process. It incorporates a 3rd generation all-big-core CPU, a powerful 12-core G1-Ultra GPU, and an energy-efficient NPU that doubles performance while reducing power consumption. With the BlueVolt Battery System, fourth-generation silicon anode technology, and semi-solid electrolyte materials, the series delivers high capacity and excellent durability. The vivo X300 Pro features a 6510 mAh battery, and the vivo X300 carries 6040 mAh, both supporting 90W FlashCharge and 40W wireless charging.
The display also receives significant upgrades, featuring an 8T LTPO panel with up to 2000 nits global peak brightness. For enhanced eye protection, it uses 2160 Hz Full-Range PWM Dimming and Full-Range DC Dimming to reduce strain while maintaining clarity in various lighting conditions.
The vivo X300 series adopts a Unibody 3D Glass Design, seamlessly blending the camera module into the body for a sleek, minimalistic appearance. The rear coral velvet glass texture offers a soft, fingerprint-resistant, and comfortable feel. The vivo X300 features a compact 6.31-inch flat display weighing 190 g and measuring 7.95 mm thick, while the vivo X300 Pro features a 6.78-inch flat display and a slim 7.99 mm profile. The color options include Phantom Black and Mist Blue for both models, with Halo Pink added for the vivo X300 and Dune Brown introduced for the vivo X300 Pro.
The vivo X300 will be available in 16GB + 512GB from RM3,899, while the vivo X300 Pro will also be available in 16GB + 512GB from RM4,699.
