Samsung Unleashes Future-Ready Foldables and Wearables at Galaxy Unfolds Pavilion KL Showcase

Samsung Malaysia is pushing the boundaries of innovation once again, this time through the grand unveiling of its Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, and Galaxy Watch8 Series during the Galaxy Unfolds Roadshow at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur on 16 July 2025. The showcase, which runs until 20 July, offers Malaysians an immersive dive into the next chapter of foldable smartphones and AI-powered smart living.

The launch event was officiated by Charles Kim, President of Samsung Malaysia Electronics, alongside Matthew Ng, Head of Mobile eXperience Business, Elaine Soh, Chief Marketing Officer, and Kevin Kim, Business Director of Mobile eXperience Business. The show featured a dazzling runway segment with models donning celestial-inspired outfits while flaunting the latest Galaxy devices. Adding to the excitement was a special appearance by Korean model and actor Lee Soo-hyuk, drawing large crowds and camera flashes.

Celebrating the evolution of Samsung’s foldables since 2019, the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 represent the culmination of years of refinement and engineering breakthroughs, now enhanced with Galaxy AI and Gemini Live. These devices are part of Samsung’s flagship lineup and form the backbone of its growing AI-powered ecosystem.

Several Malaysian content creators including Umar Naqshbandi (@Umarnaq), Jinnyboy, and @Mekyun were also present to share their real-life experiences using the new Galaxy Z Series and Galaxy Watch8. They highlighted how AI tools like Gemini Live have transformed their work, wellness routines, and creative productivity. From summarising notes and multitasking effortlessly to managing health data, their testimonials reinforced the real-world value of Samsung’s ecosystem.

The roadshow features five unique experiential zones. At the Wall of Innovation, visitors can witness the evolution of Samsung’s foldables, including the new Armor FlexHinge and AI enhancements. The AI Health Zone showcases the Galaxy Watch8’s health tracking features such as Antioxidant Scan, Vascular Load, and stress management support powered by Gemini Live. Meanwhile, the Productivity Zone demonstrates how AI integration supercharges multitasking with features like Note Assist. In the SmartThings AI Zone, users experience a seamlessly connected lifestyle—automating tasks, planning meals, and controlling home devices through voice. Lastly, the Personalisation Station lets users customise their Galaxy accessories and devices to suit their individual style.

Consumers can pre-order the new Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 from 9 to 31 July 2025, with prices starting at RM3,999 for the Flip7 FE and RM7,799 for the Fold7. Attractive perks include Registration of Interest rebates, Samsung Reservation+ bonuses, double storage upgrades, and CIMB card rebates up to RM400. The Galaxy Z Fold7 comes in Silver Shadow, Blue Shadow, Jetblack, and Mint (online exclusive), with configurations ranging from 256GB to 1TB. The Z Flip7 and Flip7 FE are offered in vibrant colours such as Coral Red and Mint, with RAM options up to 12GB.

The Galaxy Watch8 Series is equally compelling. Starting at RM1,299, models are available in 40mm and 44mm, with WiFi or LTE connectivity. The Watch8 Classic offers a more premium design with sizes up to 46mm, while the all-new Galaxy Watch Ultra—priced at RM3,399—comes packed with exclusive perks like a Trail Band, SmartTag2, Power Adapter, Battery Pack, and enhanced trade-in rebates.
