PropertyGuru Malaysia Welcomes Vic Sithasanan as Its New Managing Director

PropertyGuru Group, Southeast Asia’s leading PropTech company, has appointed Vic Sithasanan as Managing Director for Malaysia, effective immediately. In this new role, Vic will oversee the growth of PropertyGuru’s Malaysia marketplace business, which includes both PropertyGuru and iProperty, while strengthening value for customers and consumers. He will also join the Group’s Executive Leadership Team and report directly to CEO Lewis Ng.

This appointment reflects PropertyGuru’s evolved leadership structure, transitioning from Country Managers to Managing Directors to drive stronger country-level execution and agility. Vic brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across marketplace expansion, digital transformation, and customer experience.

He previously served as Managing Director for SEEK in Singapore and Malaysia, where he led significant commercial and digital transformations and delivered strong business performance. Vic also co-founded Hyperlab, an AI startup focused on automating customer conversations for major brands. After its acquisition in 2018, he became Chief Growth Officer and expanded the business into markets such as the United States and Japan.

PropertyGuru also announced that Kenneth Soh, the current Country Manager for Malaysia, will depart the Group at the end of December 2025. Kenneth played an important role in milestones such as the Verified Badge initiative, aimed at combating property scams, and the continued integration of PropertyGuru and iProperty.

PropertyGuru Group CEO Lewis Ng expressed confidence in Vic’s leadership, citing his proven ability to scale teams, drive growth, and deliver customer-focused innovation. He also extended appreciation to Kenneth for his contributions to the Malaysia business.

Commenting on his appointment, Vic said he is excited to lead PropertyGuru and iProperty into their next phase of growth, with a focus on innovation, transparency, trust, and empowering Malaysians to make more confident property decisions while supporting partners in an increasingly digital market.
