HUAWEI Malaysia has officially announced the nationwide availability of its latest wearable for children, the HUAWEI WATCH KIDS X1 Series. The lineup includes two models, the HUAWEI WATCH KIDS X1 Pro and the HUAWEI WATCH KIDS X1, both designed to help children stay connected while giving parents greater peace of mind. The series focuses on combining communication tools, safety features, and smart functionality tailored for modern family needs.
Built with global 2G, 3G, and 4G connectivity, the smartwatch series ensures children remain reachable in various environments. It also features multi-mode dual-band positioning that integrates satellite, base station, Wi-Fi, sensor-assisted, and SOS-assisted tracking methods for improved location accuracy. Through the HUAWEI FamCare app, parents can easily manage contacts, monitor device usage, and track activity remotely. The system also includes real-time location tracking, SOS emergency calling, Safety Zone alerts, and Class Mode to support safe usage during school hours.
Communication is further enhanced through HUAWEI MeeTime, allowing children to make voice and HD video calls with approved contacts. AI Noise Cancellation helps reduce background noise for clearer conversations, ensuring better communication quality. Parents retain full control over approved contacts, ensuring a secure and monitored communication environment for children.
The series also introduces a “photo buddy” experience powered by a 5MP 110-degree ultra-wide front camera and a 13MP rear camera, enabling children to capture everyday moments easily. The Pro variant offers an additional detachable camera for more flexible photography angles. Both models come with a 1.82-inch AMOLED display featuring a 360-degree rotatable and flippable design, making it both functional and playful for young users.
In terms of design, the HUAWEI WATCH KIDS X1 Series is available in four mecha-inspired colour options. The X1 comes in Pink and Blue, while the X1 Pro is offered in Black and Purple, balancing style with practicality. The design aims to appeal to both children and parents by combining durability with a fun, expressive aesthetic.
The HUAWEI WATCH KIDS X1 Pro is priced at RM1,599, while the HUAWEI WATCH KIDS X1 is priced at RM999. Both models are now available at HUAWEI Experience Stores nationwide, the official HUAWEI website, Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. Customers will also receive free gifts worth up to RM808, including a 1-year HUAWEI Care+ subscription and a 1-year APAC warranty.
