International talent agency Beam Artistes proudly launches the inaugural MR NUSANTARA, a groundbreaking male pageant celebrating heritage, style, and talent across the Malay Archipelago. Held at Centrestage, Sungei Wang Plaza, the sashing ceremony introduced 36 contestants 15 each from Malaysia and Singapore, and 6 from Indonesia who will compete for both national and regional glory. Although fewer Indonesian delegates are competing due to unforeseen issues with a local agency, the organisers praised those who persevered to represent their homeland.
Beam Artistes’ CEO Samuel Seow emphasized that MR NUSANTARA is more than a competition it’s a symbol of unity and cultural pride. “Just like the region, we too have braved challenges. But the show must go on,” he declared.
The week-long pageant in Kuala Lumpur runs until the Grand Finals on 29 May 2025, set at the elegant Galaxy Banquet Hall @ HGH Convention Centre. Each country will crown a national winner MR MALAYSIA NUSANTARA, MR SINGAPORE NUSANTARA, and MR INDONESIA NUSANTARA before all three compete in a fan-driven online vote for the coveted title of MR NUSANTARA CHAMPION. The winner walks away with prizes worth USD 80,000, including a brand-new car.
