During the 10th HUAWEI CONNECT, Kang Ning, President of Huawei Cloud Global Ecosystem, highlighted Huawei Cloud’s commitment to empowering AI pioneers across industries through developers. In his keynote titled “Empowering AI Pioneers in Industries to Build Success with Developers,” Kang detailed the latest advancements in Huawei’s cloud ecosystem and unveiled a comprehensive upgrade to Huawei Developer Space.
Huawei Cloud continues to prioritize an open, developer-centric AI ecosystem. Kang Ning shared that the platform has grown to over 8.5 million global developers, with the Huawei Developer Institute having trained more than 5.5 million individuals. The ecosystem now includes 50,000 partners, and annual transactions in KooGallery have exceeded one million, demonstrating the platform’s increasing influence in the AI and cloud development space.
The newly upgraded Huawei Developer Space equips developers with advanced AI-native tools and resources. Accessible via web, CLI, and IDEs, it now offers cloud development environments, the enterprise-class agent platform Versatile, GaussDB, and CodeArts Doer for Coding. Developers also benefit from weekly free access to 180 hours of cloud development environment, 1 million cloud function calls, and 2 million MaaS tokens. With 1.2 million active users and support for 400,000 cloud developers, Huawei Developer Space is set to accelerate innovation in AI and cloud-native applications.
Huawei Cloud further enhances its development ecosystem through ModelArts Studio, CodeArts Doer for Coding, and Huawei Cloud Developer Technical Support Engineers (DTSEs), ensuring efficient, stable, and precise software development. Additionally, a CNY150 million incentive program promotes the use of foundational technologies including AI Compute Service, Kunpeng cloud services, HarmonyOS application cloud migration, and GaussDB, empowering partners to co-develop competitive solutions.
The ecosystem also features an AI marketplace within KooGallery, encompassing data, models, and tools alongside an Agent Zone. Huawei Cloud continues to strengthen collaboration with partners and developers to drive industrial innovation, digital transformation, and intelligent growth. HUAWEI CONNECT 2025, themed All Intelligence, explores AI across strategy, technology, and ecosystems, featuring scenario-specific industry solutions and new digital infrastructure products.
