Bateriku continues to reinforce its role as a leading technology-driven automotive ecosystem provider with a series of recognitions and validations from Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), underscoring its commitment to innovation, platform governance, and the advancement of Malaysia’s sharing economy ecosystem.
One of the company’s most significant milestones is its official validation as a Malaysia’s Sharing Economy (MySE) Platform for the 2026–2028 validation period. This recognition is awarded to platforms that demonstrate high standards of governance, trust, transparency, user protection, and operational excellence within the sharing economy landscape.
The achievement builds upon Bateriku’s longstanding collaboration with MDEC and its active participation in initiatives aimed at strengthening Malaysia’s digital economy. The company was selected as an MDEC Sharing Economy Partner Platform and is listed as part of Malaysia’s sharing economy ecosystem, reflecting its contribution to driving digital transformation and expanding access to technology-enabled automotive services nationwide.
In 2023, Bateriku was honoured with the Innovation Champion of the Sharing Economy Platform award at the Malaysia Digital Expo (MDX) 2023. The award recognised the company’s innovative approach to leveraging technology, data, and platform-based solutions to improve customer experiences while creating greater value for consumers and service providers alike.
Further demonstrating its commitment to industry best practices, Bateriku successfully completed MDEC’s Sharing Economy Platform Assessment Programme through the eCo-Creation Project in both 2024 and 2025. The programme evaluates participating platforms based on key pillars such as trust, governance, accountability, and consumer protection, helping to foster a more sustainable and responsible digital ecosystem.
Beyond platform operations, Bateriku has also contributed to the development of Malaysia Standard MS 2754 for Digital Platforms through its participation in the technical committee coordinated by MDEC, the Ministry of Digital, and Standards Malaysia. The standard serves as a framework for enhancing governance, reliability, and service quality across digital platforms operating in the country.
In recognition of its contributions and achievements, Bateriku was acknowledged during the national launch of MS 2754 and the appreciation ceremony for platforms that successfully completed MDEC’s Assessment Programme on 17 November 2025. The recognition highlighted the company’s dedication to adopting industry standards and promoting trust within the digital economy.
Collectively, these milestones reflect Bateriku’s ongoing commitment to building a trusted, inclusive, and sustainable digital ecosystem. Through close collaboration with MDEC and active participation in national digital initiatives, Bateriku continues to play an important role in advancing Malaysia’s sharing economy while setting new benchmarks for innovation, governance, and platform excellence.
As Malaysia’s digital economy continues to evolve, Bateriku remains focused on leveraging technology to create meaningful impact for consumers, service providers, and the broader automotive ecosystem, while contributing to the nation’s vision of becoming a leading digital economy in the region.
