Hard Rock Cafe at Wyndham Ion Majestic Hotel in Genting Highlands recently took breast cancer awareness to magnificent new heights by hosting a vibrant, day-long Pinktober event themed “Stronger Together”. Perched approximately 6,000 feet above sea level, this milestone gathering set a unique record as the highest-altitude Pinktober event, drawing more than 150 participants, guests, and hotel supporters together for a meaningful cause. The community-centred initiative placed a strong emphasis on the critical importance of early detection in saving lives, offering attendees essential breast cancer screenings, medical checks, and educational health talks designed to address and break down the fears and stigmas historically associated with the disease.
In addition to vital health screenings, the comprehensive programme featured a blood donation drive and interactive wellness stations, including BMI checks and skin analyses powered by Three International. While championing health advocacy, the event also delivered an unforgettable entertainment and lifestyle experience. Attendees indulged in Hard Rock Cafe’s signature menu offerings while enjoying electrifying live performances by an eclectic lineup of local artistes and personalities, including Ms. Puiyi, Mira Rizam, Kakak Jerman, Pakcik Chin Swee, DJ Alicia FireHeart, and MC Milo. Adding an extra layer of excitement to the mountain celebration was “The Highest Altitude Car Meet,” a stellar gathering that united car enthusiasts and an impressive collection of vehicles for a purpose-driven showcase.
