As travellers journey home to celebrate with family and friends, Emirates is bringing the spirit of the occasion onboard, offering passengers a taste of the festive season while flying between Dubai and Malaysia.
On 25 and 26 September 2026, passengers travelling on select Emirates flights will receive a complimentary mooncake as part of their inflight dining service across all cabin classes. Featuring a classic red bean paste filling, the seasonal delicacy will accompany lunch and dinner services. Passengers in First Class and Business Class will receive a specially packaged mooncake gift box following their first meal service, while Premium Economy and Economy Class passengers will have the sweet treat presented directly on their meal trays.
Alongside the festive culinary offering, travellers can immerse themselves in Emirates’ award winning inflight entertainment system, ice. The platform features over 40 Cantonese and Mandarin films, including popular releases such as I Am What I Am 2, Invincible Swordsman, The Way We Talk, and I Want to Be Rich. Additionally, passengers can access more than 300 Hollywood titles with Chinese subtitles, including How to Train Your Dragon, Elio, Materialists, and Audrey’s Children, ensuring a comprehensive selection of comfort viewing in the skies.
Beyond the Malaysian route, Emirates is extending its Mid-Autumn celebrations to select flights connecting Dubai with China, Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan, and Singapore, sharing the festive experience across the region. Currently, Emirates operates three daily flights between Malaysia and Dubai utilizing a fleet of Airbus A350, A380, and Boeing 777 aircraft, offering convenient connections for holiday travellers reuniting with loved ones.
