Epson, a global leader in professional printing, has expanded its EcoTank printer line-up with a new range of compact models designed to deliver faster, more cost-efficient printing for homes and small businesses.
As demand for home-office setups continues to grow across Southeast Asia, the need for reliable, high-volume printing solutions with low running costs has also increased. Building on the success of more than 100 million EcoTank printers sold worldwide, Epson’s latest generation combines faster performance, smarter workflow features and simplified maintenance in a compact design.
The new EcoTank series offers improved performance and enhanced features designed to provide greater convenience. Models L3350, L3356 and L5390 come equipped with mobile scanning and copying via the Epson Smart Panel, together with AirPrint compatibility for seamless mobile printing. The L5390 further enhances productivity with an Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) that simplifies multi-page scanning and copying.
Each EcoTank model delivers higher page yields using high-capacity 65ml CMYK dye ink bottles, capable of printing up to 4,700 pages with black ink and up to 7,500 pages with colour inks. This makes the printers ideal for both everyday document printing and vibrant photo reproduction while maintaining exceptional cost efficiency.
To simplify maintenance, every model features colour-coded ink tank keys with dedicated slots that match specific ink bottles, providing an intuitive, mess-free refilling experience while reducing waste.
Built for durability, every printer in the new series is designed to print up to 50,000 pages under warranty. The printers also feature a replaceable Maintenance Box that minimises downtime and enables easy self-maintenance. In addition, the Semi-Automatic Print Adjustment system helps maintain alignment and colour calibration over time, ensuring consistent, high-quality output for both text and image printing.
The latest EcoTank series also introduces a redesigned compact form factor with integrated ink tanks and a modern two-tone finish suitable for both home and office environments. Improved paper support and an expanded paper tray help minimise paper bending while ensuring smoother and more stable paper feeding. Compared to previous generations, the new printers have a footprint that is up to 20 percent smaller.
Powered by Epson’s Heat-Free Technology, the printers consume less energy, making them a more sustainable and environmentally responsible choice for homes and businesses.
The L3350, L3356 and L5390 support the Epson Smart Panel application, allowing users to set up, monitor and manage scanning directly from their mobile devices. The app also enables users to combine multiple scanned pages into a single PDF while providing file preview and editing functions.
These models also support AirPrint and Mopria for seamless wireless printing from compatible mobile devices. Meanwhile, the L1310, L3310 and L3316 are equipped with USB 2.0 connectivity, offering dependable printing performance for home and office use.
The new EcoTank printers produce sharp text, smooth colour gradation and detailed image reproduction across both text-heavy and visual documents, delivering professional-quality results without high operating costs.
